PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TA2/Gr2, is an industrial titanium with a single alpha phase. TA2 is commonly used in industry for its corrosion resistance and moderate overall mechanical properties. TA3 can be used when higher wear resistance and strength are required, and TA1 can be used when better molding properties are required.

Titanium alloy is a new important structural material used in the aerospace industry, specific gravity, strength and use of temperature between aluminum and steel, but high strength and has excellent resistance to seawater corrosion and ultra-low-temperature performance. 1950 U.S. fighters for the first time in the F-84 fighters used as a rear fuselage heat shield, windshield, tail cowl, and other non-bearing components. 60's the beginning of the use of titanium alloys from the rear fuselage to the center fuselage, partly in the fuselage and the tail cowl. Titanium high temperature, melting point 1942K, higher than gold nearly 1000K, higher than steel nearly 500K. titanium wire is titanium metal, after a special treatment process into a wire, become titanium wire. Industry commonly used industrial pure titanium is TA2, because of its corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties moderate. TA3 can be used for higher wear resistance and strength requirements, and TA1 can be used for better molding performance.

TA2/GR2 APPLICATION AREAS

1. Used in the production of aircraft engine compressor parts;

2. for the manufacture of rockets, missiles and aircraft structural components, aircraft skeletons, skins, engine parts, beams, etc;

3. marine seawater corrosion of piping systems, valves, pumps;

4. power station condenser, oil refining and desalination gas pedal and environmental pollution control devices, etc.

5. chemical heat exchangers, pump bodies, distillation towers.
